What has your journey been to working with CE?
My journey to working with CE has been unique to say the least. I was initially introduced to CE through my previous employer, having a working relationship from over the Pacific for a few years. As a Canadian coming over to Australia, a foreign land, after the height of the pandemic, proved to be a tough but very rewarding experience.
What is the best thing about working for CE?
The best thing about working for CE is the people. Culture is sometimes lower on the priority list at other companies but not here. The collaboration and support are unrivaled.
What is your favourite product range at CE?
Everyone will know the heavy bias in my answer – the Giatec SmartRock. I have been working with it for a long time and have developed an affinity to it.
What three words would you use to describe CE?
Compassion. Empathy. Specialists.
What is the coolest project I have worked on in the last year?
Coolest would have to be One Sydney Harbour. Being able to help the project teams on all three towers with the SmartRock tech and receive positive feedback and results has been amazing. Iconic project for Sydney and iconi project for SmartRock.
What is something most people don’t know about you?
I was once a Zamboni driver for ice hockey.
What advice would you give to 13 year old you?
You’ll appreciate facial hair when you’re older.
If you could perfect one skill, what would it be?
Cooking.
If you were famous, what do you think you would be famous for?
Professional soccer player.
What is your secret to balancing your home and work life?
Nail that morning routine. Bedtime as well. Don’t skip out on quality sleep.
